KEEP HOLDING ON

“from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I,”

Psalm 61:2

For the past few months God has really been teaching me to trust. These months have been plagued with deaths, lots of sickness, and many “why?” moments. I haven’t always been able to understand and I still don’t understand a lot. The one thing that has remained true during everything is that God is still good. It is easy to get overwhelmed and wonder when it is ever going to end but I know that God is leading me into something greater even though it hurts right now.

I encourage you to remember a few things when things get tough; God is still on your side, you are never alone, and greater things are coming.

There is almost something so sweet about knowing that challenging circumstances almost always bring growth. Look for good and opportunities to grow no matter the circumstance. There is hope no matter what seems to be going wrong.

Thankfully, we have a God who runs to our mess and cares enough to dust us off and set us back on our feet. He is loving and all knowing. We just have to remember that His plan is so much better than ours and let Him have His way. We can be comforted by knowing that nothing that happens to us is outside of God’s control.

I am so excited to see how God uses these circumstances because I still can’t figure it out right now. Keep holding on and don’t let your situations overcome you.
